The Hoover Police encourages all residents to call us anytime to report situations to us that they might not otherwise know about. This includes reporting suspicious behavior and noise ordinance issues. If it is important enough to post on social media, it's important enough to call the Police.

At the joint Homeowner's Association meeting in October 2019, it was decided that Southwood Highlands will join the Russet Woods Community and the Russet Woods Homeowner's Association.  We look forward to working with you!

The beautiful city of Hoover is nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains and is the largest suburb of Birmingham. Since being incorporated in 1967, the City of Hoover has grown to over 85,000 residents. The City of Hoover boasts one of the largest malls in the southeast, the Riverchase Galleria along with many new and exciting developments.

The Hoover Public Library is one of the busiest in the country with a mission to reinvent the way communities view libraries. Hoover's school system is known nationwide for excelling in academics. Hoover has many parks, gardens and trails to take advantage of the outdoors and our mild climate.

The Russet Woods Community is proud to be in Hoover!
